JFK&M provided comprehensive MEP/FP LEED design services for Mind-Builders Creative Art Center, a dance school. The project consisted of a complete gut renovation of an existing 3-story building of approximately 14,000 square feet with a cellar. The new space contains a dance studio, music studio, classrooms, practice rooms, offices, break room, toilets and mechanical spaces. The project included the design of special LEED certification compliant systems and was designed to achieve a LEED® silver certification as well as compliance with Local Law 86.
